Our new urgent care center is located at the site of the former RapidCare walk-in clinic, and you may be wondering, “What’s changed?” Read on to find out what you can expect from Jovive.

What’s changed?

We are the same team of providers providing the same high-quality care. When you need care, simply start a visit online, or call us at 530-332-2130 (though our old phone number will continue to work as well).

We have implemented a new online registration system and patient portal that are designed to make it easier for you to get the care you need.

Online reservations: You’ll be able to make a same day reservation – so you can spend less time waiting. You can also book a virtual visit and take care of your registration paperwork in advance. Start your visit.

Patient Portal: Manage your health anywhere, anytime. By subscribing to our new patient portal, you can access test results, health information and billing, or message the clinic and refill prescriptions. Sign up now.

In the coming months, we’ll be making additional changes to bring you flexible, convenient care. We appreciate your understanding as our staff is learning new processes that will allow us to better care for you.

Does this impact my relationship with my doctor?

There is no change to your relationship with your healthcare provider. We are the same team of providers delivering the same high-quality care to our patients.

However, all patients will be required to establish care with Jovive Urgent Care. This means that your first visit will be registered as a new patient visit. Please sign up for our new patient portal, which allows you to message your doctor, access your medical record, and pay your bills.

Is the clinic still in-network for my insurance?

We are contracted with all major insurers. Please call our clinic to ask about a specific insurer. Not all products or benefit plans may be covered under our contract. Please contact your health plan directly to verify coverage specific to your policy.

Can I still walk in for care? Can I still check in online?

Yes. We always welcome walk ins. If you prefer to wait from the comfort of home, check out our same-day reservations! Start your visit now.

What are your hours of operation?

To start, we will operate the same hours as Rapid Care: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday and holidays 9 a.m – 4 p.m. Check back, as we are evaluating ways to provide more flexible options for care in the future.

What does Jovive mean?

Jo∙vive / ˈjō-vēv / A new way to get the care you need to live your best life.

The story behind our name: The name is derived from beliefs lived out in our clinics and our organization: Jo-Vi-Vive. We believe there is joy (Jo) in practicing medicine, it’s the reason we choose to dedicate our lives to healthcare. And we placed Vituity (Vi) in the center, as Vituity compassion is at the heart of better care. Finally, we help our communities live with Vive, an intransitive verb which is often translated as “to live.”

How do I pronounce it?

Jovive is pronounced ˈjō-vēv. Or put another way, say the name Joe and then letter ‘Vee’ ending with a short v sound: Joe-vee-v.

What can I expect from Jovive Urgent Care

We understand that you can’t always predict when you’ll need medical attention. And we know that what works best for one patient, doesn’t necessarily work for others. That’s why we personalize your experience by providing flexibility in how you see your providers and make every effort to get you in and out quickly.
