Frequently Asked Questions

Legacy Urgent Care is now Jovive Health, and you may be wondering, “What’s changed?” Read on to learn about our exciting enhancements.

What’s changed?

We are the same team of providers providing the same high-quality care.

When you need care, you can start your visit here or simply call our existing phone number, 702-263-4555.

We have implemented a new online registration system and patient portal that are designed to make it easier for you to get the care you need.

Online reservations: You can now make a same day reservation – so you can spend less time waiting. Virtual visits coming soon!

Patient Portal: Manage your health anywhere, anytime. By subscribing to our new patient portal, you can access test results, health information and billing, or message the clinic and refill prescriptions.

In the coming months, we’ll be making additional changes to bring you flexible, convenient care. We appreciate your understanding as our staff is learning new processes that will allow us to better care for you.

Does this impact my relationship with my doctor?

There is no change to your relationship with your healthcare provider. We are the same team of providers delivering the same high-quality care to our patients.

However, all patients will be required to establish care with Jovive Health. This means that your first visit after our transition on Oct. 29 will be registered as a new patient visit. We will also have you complete a short online registration and will ask you to follow instructions to sign up for our new patient portal.

Is the clinic still in-network for my insurance?

We are contracted with most major insurers. Please call our clinic to ask about a specific insurer. Not all products or benefit plans may be covered under our contract. Please contact your health plan directly to verify coverage specific to your policy.

Can I still walk in for care? Can I still check in online?

Yes. We always welcome walk ins. If you prefer to wait from the comfort of home, check out our same-day reservations!

I have feedback, what should I do?

We want to hear from you—the good, the bad, the novel ideas. Your feedback helps us design our clinic to better care for you. Please let our staff know. Stop by or call our office at 702-263-4555.

And be sure to check back with us. We are implementing a new solution to help us better capture and respond to patient feedback soon.

I’ve never heard of Jovive, is it new?

Jovive Urgent Care is a new kind of urgent care, brought to you by an organization with a long history or providing high-quality care. Jovive is led by your local doctors and is part of Vituity, a physician-owned partnership.

For nearly 50 years, Vituity has been a catalyst for positive change in healthcare. Our 5,000 doctors and clinicians care for 8 million patients each year. Together, we develop front-line solutions for healthcare challenges that improve quality and have a direct, positive impact on millions of lives nationwide.

Our services span the entire acute care continuum— integrating emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, acute psychiatry, neurology, acute care surgery, telehealth, post-acute care, and outpatient medicine. And our expertise in operating efficient, highly-rated urgent care centers spans 35 years. We partner with hospitals, health systems, clinics, payors, employers, and state and local governments. Vituity’s proactive, patient-centered focus and compassion are the driving forces that have placed us at the heart of better care.

What does Jovive mean?

Jo∙vive / ˈjō-vēv / A new way to get the care you need to live your best life.

The story behind our name: The name is derived from beliefs lived out in our clinics and our organization: Jo-Vi-Vive. We believe there is joy (Jo) in practicing medicine, it’s the reason we choose to dedicate our lives to healthcare. And we placed Vituity (Vi) in the center, as Vituity compassion is at the heart of better care. Finally, we help our communities live with Vive, an intransitive verb which is often translated as “to live.”

How do I pronounce it?

Jovive is pronounced ˈjō-vēv. Or put another way, say the name Joe and then letter ‘Vee’ ending with a short v sound: Joe-vee-v.

What can I expect from Jovive Health?

We understand that you can’t always predict when you’ll need medical attention. And we know that what works best for one patient, doesn’t necessarily work for others. That’s why we personalize your experience by providing flexibility in how you see your providers and make every effort to get you in and out quickly. You can rest assured that you’ll always see board-certified physicians and qualified physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
